To Various Future TImes but Not to All is a companion film that captures a childhood home. It is a reflection on the past, objects, anchors, family, identity and memory. This durational film mirrors Roberts’ own camerawork and eye, where ceding the camera to his own mother results in uncanny resemblances, care and attention to once occupied spaces. The film is activated by Roberts’ experience of dislocation, and becomes a poignant and collaborative act of remembering and connection.
