The Fetch (2026)

A woman is pursued through an industrial zone by a mysterious entity, coming face to face… or even closer.

The Fetch is an homage to American B-horror films of the 1970’s and 80’s, shot sequentially on one roll of super8 film, unedited and captured all in camera.  The short film depicts an industrial area of South London as a non-neutral force that imbues its protagonist with with supernatural engery. The Fetch blends the atmostphere of industrial spaces with the gritty material of analogue film - the architecture of the city at night is a set where strange things unfold.  Selected as part of the top 25 for the straight 8 film competition, the film was screened at the BFI Imax as well as online.
